Shipping Policy
Effective Date: [Pending Final Confirmation] · Logistics Spec Version: DRAFT-03 · Physical Hardware Tier: The Deck Rev. C
Shipping destinations, carrier partnerships, customs duties protocols, and dispatch timeframes are illustrative drafts pending final production logistics contracts. We do not invent guaranteed delivery days or unconfirmed geographic coverage. Hardware orders will be fulfilled in conformance with verified manufacturing runs and carrier manifest certifications.
Pre-Release Batch Dispatch Overview
The Deck hardware is manufactured, surface-finished, and fulfilled strictly in scheduled production batches. Rather than continuous mass injection molding, every run is machined via precision CNC milling, hand-assembled, and individually inspected.
Each physical console carries a permanent laser-etched cryptographic serial code mapped to its micro-firmware seed and factory QA pass log.
Before boxing, units pass a 45-minute continuous burn-in test verifying encoder detent resistance, 2.0″ optical panel refresh, and USB-C controller bus power.
Batches are locked at fixed component quantities to ensure thermal and component trace integrity. Deliveries occur in ordered tranches according to reservation timestamp.
Processing & Fulfillment Timeline
Order processing operates under two distinct workflows depending on whether an order is placed during an active in-stock inventory drop or as part of a forward pre-order allocation.
In-Stock Batch Units
Units labeled as “In-Stock” typically process within 2 to 3 business days following batch assembly completion and final QA scan. Warehouse pick, serial bind, and courier handoff occur Monday through Friday, excluding international public holidays.
Pre-Order Allocations
Pre-order allocations will dispatch according to batch release schedules announced on /the-deck product page and confirmed via direct email notices. Pre-order dispatch windows reflect factory yield forecasts.
Shipping Methods & Estimated Transit
We contract verified logistics providers specializing in fragile tech and microelectronics transport. The following transit windows represent indicative averages:
Dependant on domestic sorting hub proximity and standard road/air parcel linehaul. Comprehensive door-to-door scan updates provided.
Priority airlift via global express carriers (DHL Express, FedEx Priority, UPS Worldwide). Requires direct adult signature upon delivery.
Important Logistical Note: Transit estimates are indicative calculations provided directly by third-party logistics partners, not guaranteed contractual promises. Severe weather disruptions, customs intake holds, or regional courier labor strikes can influence final arrival times.
Packaging & Hardware Protection
Every unit of The Deck is enclosed inside a custom-engineered, multi-layer rigid box crafted to protect sensitive precision components across long-haul freight operations.
High-density EVA anti-static foam cavity shaped to the 0.05mm contour of the bead-blasted anodized aluminum housing to eliminate surface abrasion.
2.0″ optical bonded glass display is shielded by a static-cling tempered protective mask and suspended 4mm clear of outer box lid pressure.
The continuous metal optical encoder shaft sits inside a recessed foam collar to isolate axial impact shocks encountered during air parcel handling.
Outer cartons are secured with custom destructible polymer tape. If this seal displays a “VOID” holographic pattern upon initial receipt, photograph the package immediately before opening and alert logistics dispatch.
International Shipping & Customs Duties
Agent Deck is expanding worldwide availability responsibly. Physical shipments will be systematically activated across countries as regulatory electronics safety and RF certifications conclude.
International destinations will be announced as regional hardware compliance certifications (FCC for North America, CE marking for the European Union, RoHS, UKCA, and TELEC for Japan) are formally archived. We will not ship uncertified hardware to jurisdictions that prohibit non-cleared radio telemetry devices.
Import taxes, VAT, goods and services tax (GST), and brokerage clearance fees vary substantially by destination jurisdiction. Where legally supported, a transparent itemized breakdown of applicable duties will be displayed during checkout (DDP — Delivery Duty Paid). For jurisdictions where DDP is not supported, shipments proceed under standard DPU/DAP Incoterms, and customs fees are assessed and collected directly by local border authorities prior to parcel release.
Tracking & Courier Notifications
Upon parcel handover to the carrier, a dispatch notification email containing a live tracking number, carrier manifest link, and estimated destination scan window will be transmitted directly to the customer’s contact email address.
Please permit up to 24 hours from initial dispatch notification for carrier hub scanners to synchronize telemetry data into public tracking endpoints.
Address Changes & Order Corrections
If an order was placed with an incomplete, outdated, or erroneous delivery destination, address updates can be accommodated prior to physical warehouse dispatch.
To request an address correction, transmit an email immediately to support@agentdeck.example with the subject line format: ADDRESS UPDATE [Your Order #].
Once a parcel has entered active carrier manifest staging or received an export bill of lading, destination rerouting is contingent upon individual carrier redirect capabilities and may incur surcharge re-tagging fees levied by the transport partner.
Lost or Damaged Shipments
Hardware reliability does not stop at software runtime. We take full responsibility for ensuring intact, undamaged hardware delivery to your physical workspace.
If the shipping box or hardware arrives with physical damage, document the outer container, internal packaging, and hardware unit with clear photographs within 7 days of delivery. Retain all original packaging materials for carrier inspection.
If your tracking beacon has ceased telemetry updates for more than 10 consecutive business days without an active customs notice, our logistics desk will initiate a formal lost-in-transit carrier investigation and issue an expedited replacement unit from reserve inventory.
